          PROPELLER:  Neuform TXR2-65-47-101.6; blades destroyed

 

          EQUIPMENT:  DYNON AVIONICS EMS D-100 and EMS-D120, Garmin GTX 330 Transponder, Garmin SL40 Comm

 

          DESCRIPTION OF ACCIDENT:   Aircraft encountered a microburst on short final, landed short of the runway and flipped nose over.

                                                                 

          DESCRIPTION OF DAMAGES:    Damage includes but may not be limited to the following:          **PHOTOS**

  • Propeller
  • Engine mounts were broken on impact
  • Lower cowling has damage.
  • Windshield is broken
  • Left main wing spar was broken at the wing root.
  • Nose gear is destroyed.
  • Left main mount was broken off.
  • Rudder has been compressed into the tail section.
  • Both wings have additional damage to their composite structure.
  • Damage to the underside of the aircraft.
 

 

         LOCATION OF AIRCRAFT:  Milton Florida (2R4)

 

 

         REMARKS:  Logbooks are with SIAI.  Aircraft had wings removed and is stored inside hangar at airport.
