DESCRIPTION OF ACCIDENT: On 05/23/24, the aircraft experienced a hard landing resulting in damage to the aircraft.
DESCRIPTION OF DAMAGES: The damage includes but may not be limited to:
· The aircraft had visible wrinkles or stretched skin on the fuselage and wings. · The nose gear frame assembly was broken at both upper weld joints. · The nose gear frame appeared bent and attach points at the fuselage bulkhead showed cracked angled skins. · Both nose landing gear doors was damaged from contact with the nose gear assembly. · Nose landing gear door linkage was bent. · The fuselage showed evidence of stretched and bent skins at the nose fairing on both sides of the fuselage. · After placing the aircraft on jacks, the bottom and top of the fuselage at the wing mate and gear attach points showed skin deformation. · The left main landing gear aft attach point had movement indicative of a cracked or elongated bushing or gear trunnion pin. · The left main landing gear brake assembly was leaking from an apparent overstress on the piston to caliper seals. · Both left and right aileron hinges showed signs of downward deformation and bending. · The interior of the main landing gear truss assembly was removed for inspection to reveal signs of movement on the upper cap section. · The left main landing gear door was cracked at the upper radius from compression on the left main gear wheel assembly. · Both left and right wing root fairings were cracked from apparent wing to fuselage movement
