EQUIPMENT:
DESCRIPTION OF ACCIDENT: On 11/18/2024, the pilot lost control of the plane during landing roll out on a turf airstrip and the aircraft slid making contact with hangar doors and a light pole.
DESCRIPTION OF DAMAGES: The aircraft right collided with the hangar doors causing it to spin and the nose section collided with the hangar doors and the left side fuselage collided with a steel pole that supports the hangar doors when open. The aircraft sustained excessive damage to the propeller, engine, firewall, nose landing gear, left and right wings and fuselage.
LOCATION OF AIRCRAFT: Stored inside of the owners hangar in Crowley, LA.
