               AVIONICS:  As identified on attached AVIONICS LISTING 

 

               DESCRIPTION OF ACCIDENT: 

     

                    The aircraft was damaged on August 27, 2015 while landing at Toluca Mexico. During landing an assemetric thrust reverser deployment occurred and the aircraft went off the runway into deep soft mud.

                    The nose gear collapsed in the nose gear and the nose gear retraction and extension areas are unserviceable.

 

 

              DESCRIPTION OF DAMAGES:

 

                    The aircraft sustained damage mainly in forward fuselage and the nose landing gear collapsed backward and to left side. The tail section was displaced to the left. Our inspection of the aircraft concluded that

                    the aircraft would require major disassembly and repair. The only facility in the world capable of doing the repairs was the aircraft manufacturer, Cessna Citation, and that option was not economically feasible.

 

                    The nose gear collapsed in the nose gear and the nose gear retraction and extension areas are unserviceable

 

                    The avionics in the forward nose gear area above the nose should be considered unserviceable.

 

                    The avionics in the cockpit are all serviceable. The windshields are serviceable. All of the interior and the aircraft is in good condition and in serviceable condition. All of the seats are in good condition and in serviceable

                     condition. All of the main cabin windows are intact and undamaged.

 

                    The right wing droop leading edge was damaged, however, all of the actuators are in serviceable condition. The left and right ailerons and flaps are in serviceable condition and are undamaged.

                    The wings otherwise appear to be undamaged.

 

                    The vertical stabilizer, rudder (both upper and lower), elevators, and horizontal stabilizers are undamaged.

 

                    The engine inlet cowlings are undamaged. The thrust reversers and their associated systems are undamaged.

 

                    The spoilers on the wings are undamaged, as well as their actuating systems.

 

                    The left engine sustained a minor amount of mud and grass ingestion, and will require a full tear down prior to return to service. The left thrust reverser system is not damaged. The right engine did not ingest any mud and

                    damage may not require a full tear down and inspection. The right thrust reverser system is not damaged.

 

                    The auxiliary power unit is not damaged.

 

                    None of the accessories on either engine are damaged and do not require any maintenance prior to return to service.

 

                    Neither of the FADEC systems on either engine were damaged. None of the electrical components on the aircraft or engines were damaged.

 

                    All of the cowlings fairings and access doors are undamaged.

 

                    All of the hydraulic system functions were tested and all function normally and can be returned to service.

 

                    The 5-year inspection on both engines are due in June 2018. The 2000 hour fuel nozzle inspection on both engines are due in 599.9 hours. The 4500 flight hour inspection is due on the #1 engine in 1191.8 hours.

                    The 4500 flight hour inspection is due on the right engine is 2235 hours. The engine igniter inspection is due on both engines in 1191 hours.

 

                    The APU 400 amp generator inspection is due in October 2019.

 

                    All of the life vest inspections are due in October 2016.

 

                    The ELT battery inspection is due in November 2020.

 

                    The APU fire extinguishing cartridge replacement is due in August 2017.

 

                    The left and right main landing gear Trunion assembly replacement is due in 29620 landings.

 

                    The trailing link axle assembly replacement is due in 41,973 landings.

 

                    The left and right main landing gear olio assemblies’ replacements are due in 29,620 landings.

 

                    The left and right main landing gear side brace actuators are due in 31,420 cycles.

 

                    The #1 engine fan rotor has 16,385 cycles remaining. The #2 engine fan rotor has 16,473 cycles remaining.

 

                    The #1 engine fan rotor driveshaft has 16,385 cycles remaining.

 

                    The #2 engine fan rotor driveshaft has 12,473 cycles remaining.

                            The successful bidder will be notified on the following Tuesday and agrees to provide payment via wire transfer unless an alternate payment method is agreed to by Starr.  Salvage will not be released until receipt of your wire

                            transfer or other payment method as agreed to by Starr.  All storage and handling charges accrued prior to notification of high bid will be the responsibility of Starr and after that date will be the responsibility of the purchaser. 

                            Starr reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

 

                            Starr makes no expressed nor implied warranties for the condition, fitness for purpose, value, airworthiness or operation of performance of any kind whatsoever, whether in contract or tort in respect to the sale of any aircraft salvage. The buyer
